真宗大谷派 井波別院瑞泉寺
明徳元年（1390年）北陸の浄土真宗の中心として、本願寺第五代綽如上人により開かれた。二度の大火に遭うも、復興の度に大きくなった。井波彫刻発祥の地とされ、随所に超絶技巧の彫刻が施されている。
Zuisen-ji Temple
Zuisen-ji was built in 1390. The temple suffered two fires, but grew larger each time it was rebuilt. It is said to be the birthplace of Inami sculpture, and is decorated with superbly crafted carvings throughout.
