たてもん祭り

高さ16メートルの柱に所狭しと提灯を取り付けた「たてもん」と呼ばれる山車を回転させて奉納する祭り。300年以上の歴史を持ち、ユネスコ世界無形文化遺産に登録されている。

Tatemon Matsuri

People rotate a float called “tatemon” with more than 90 lanterns attached to a 16-meter-high pole. The festival has a history of more than 300 years and is registered as a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage site.
